Veeter Genuine Spares & Auto Care Products (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use www.veeter.in, write to us, or buy from the Faridabad counter, and how that information is used. It is written in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as they apply to a small Indian trade business.

2. What we collect
We collect only what the work requires:
- Enquiry details you type into the contact form or send by email, WhatsApp or phone: name, phone number, email address, vehicle or part interest, and your message.
- Order and billing details needed to raise an invoice, arrange collection or dispatch, and meet tax law: name, address, GSTIN if you are registered, payment references.
- Technical logs that a web server may keep automatically: IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit. This site is static; we do not run an account system or a marketing pixel of our own.
The contact form on this website does not store submissions on our server. It opens your own email client so the message goes to us by mail. If you prefer not to use mail, use WhatsApp or the phone instead.
3. Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and confirm fitment or stock.
- To fulfil orders, take payment and provide invoices.
- To handle returns, warranties and complaints.
- To keep records required under tax and commercial law.
- To keep the website secure and diagnose faults.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Legal basis
We process information because you ask us to (an enquiry or order), because we have a contract to perform, because the law requires invoices and records, or because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe website and a reachable trade counter — interests that do not override your rights.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Couriers or transporters, to deliver a parcel.
- Banks, UPI providers or payment partners, to complete a payment.
- Professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
- Hosting or domain providers who keep this website online, under their own terms.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps and Unsplash (hero photography) are third-party services. Their privacy rules apply once you leave veeter.in.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry mail is kept for as long as needed to complete the conversation and any resulting order, then in ordinary business archives. Tax invoices and related records are kept for the period Indian tax law requires, typically eight years. Server logs, if any, are rotated in the ordinary course of hosting.
7. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures: limited access to mail and invoices, and HTTPS when the site is served over TLS. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Please do not send payment card numbers by unencrypted email.
8. Your rights
Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate details;
- erase data we no longer need, where the law allows;
- withdraw consent for optional communications.

9. Children
This site is intended for adult customers, dealers and workshops. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
